There goes my savings.

For whatever reason, my university is going to require that I pay out of pocket for my summer tuition and eventually get reimbursed in July. That will drain ALL of my savings (1,200 dollars) and leave little to pay for books. I'm not even sure how I'll pay for books.

Time to start selling stuff. Oy.

Yeah, I'm gonna echo what Strange Bird said, it SUCKS bigtime!!! I hate pre-paying for stuff like that, especially if it's going to leave you so short :-(

If I were you I would skip the summer semester, get a couple of jobs, save and enroll during the fall.

Fortunately, I only had to pay the first half and then financial aid kicked in. I still haven't touched my bars to reflect my lack of savings... I don't want to see how little I have left!

That really sucks! Sorry. Good luck selling stuff. We do the same when we get in a pinch. Well, look at it this way. Your savings is your insurance cushion. You had to use it but what if you didn't have it?
